Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
On your arrival at Kigali international airport, You will be met and greeted by our safari guide/driver, he will gets you briefed about the safari and later drive you to Rwanda / Congo (DRC) border – Grande Barriére (La Corniche ). Our guide will assist you to clear with customs and later cross border to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Continue on to Goma and later to Kibati Village near Nyiragongo mountain dinner and an overnight at Budget
Day 2: Nyiragongo Volcano Hiking.
After your breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to Kibati Village where you start your real experience; however you will first do some shopping in the grocery store before transferring to kabit village. With your hiking gears, Begin the hiking and arrive at the leading in the mid-day. This can take you about 5-8hours, with enroute sights to some species of animals and birds trail. Admire the lava lake all evening, before retiring in the tents on the rim of the giant crater higher above the energetic lake. The hike up to and below Nyiragongo is demanding and commonly in hot disorders, but the path is relatively easy and not overly high. After the activity you have dinner at the top of the volcanoes
Day3. Depart to Rwanda.
After a hearty morning breakfast on top of the volcano, slope down to kibati village, this probably can take you about 4-5 hrs. From here you will be driven back to Gisenyi in Rwanda and later at the airport to meet your departure flight back home.
