Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Pick Up
On arrival, you will be welcomed by a tour guide from Let’s Go Tours Rwanda Ltd and transfer to Kigali for overnight. Depending on arrival time, early arrival you will have a grand city tour of Kigali city. Dinner and overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel / Hotel des Mille Collines (Luxury), Strippe Hotel Biz (Mid-range), Meal Plan: Bed and Breakfast.
Day 2: Transfer to Khauzi Biega.
In the morning, you will set of to Khauzi Biega NP in Bukavu, crossing via Cyangungu boarder. You will reach Khauzi Biega in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Orchids Hotel.
Day 3: Lowland gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Kivu.
In the morning, you will go for lowland gorilla tracking, enjoy the gorillas feed in the forest and take photography. You will then drive back to Rwanda and have an overnight at Lake Kivu Serena ( Luxury), Palm Gardens Resort / (Mid-range), Paradise Malahide Hotel (Basic).
Day 4: Transfer to Parc National des Volcans.
In the morning at 7:00am, set off to Volcanoes NP reaching in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Mountain Gorilla View Lodge / Volcanoes Lodge ( Luxury), Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge / La Palme (Mid-range), Muhabura Hotel (Basic).
Day 5:Day for Gorilla Tracking Rwanda
Wake up early and prepare for today’s incredible experience of Gorilla tracking. We shall assemble at Park Headquarters with packed lunch, attend a briefing on the Dos and Don’ts while with Gorillas. Tracking gorillas takes 2-7 Hours depending on their movements. You will stay with these giant apes for 1 hr for observation and photographing. Descend to the hotel for a rest and if the evening is free, we can have a walk to nearby communities, interact with them and learn more about their culture. Dinner and overnight stay at DAY 4.
Day 6: Golden Monkey tracking and Transfer to Bwindi NP-Uganda
Have an early breakfast, and go for golden monkey tracking. These are endangered monkey species which are very playful and interesting to watch. On return, transfer to Bwindi NP. Dinner and overnight at Budget: Bakiga Lodge/ Wagtail eco lodge
Mid-range: Gorilla Mist/Nshongi Gorilla resort, Luxury: Gorilla safari lodge/Gorilla resort
Day 7: Third Gorilla tracking Expedition Uganda
After early breakfast, we shall proceed to park offices with packed lunch for a briefing about the Dos and Don’ts while with gorillas. Tracking can take 2-8 hours depending on their movements. Tracking involves walking up steep and densely forested hills before finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation. You will stay with these Giant apes for 1 hour for observation and photographing. Relax in the evening as we wait for dinner and overnight stay at DAY 6.
Day 8: Bwindi Forest – Queen Elizabeth National park
Take breakfast and set off to Queen Elizabeth Park. The journey takes you through beautiful rolling hills and the Ishasha sector for -Tree-climbing-Lions in the south of Queen Elizabeth. Have lunch and Proceed for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel, famous for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa. Bird life is prolific with over 610 species and hundreds of Nile crocodiles. You will also see herds of elephants and buffaloes drinking water on the channel. The boat provides a clear platform for photographing. Dinner and overnight at Safari Lodge (Luxury), Enganzi Lodge (Mid-range), Kingfisher Lodge (Basic).
Day 9, Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After your breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi via the commonly known area as the Switzerland of Africa Kabale. The journey will offer you with sights of the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape. Upon arrival at Bunyonyi, have lunch and later carry out an afternoon boat ride on the lake which will reward you with sights of different birds on the many small islands on the lake. Dinner and overnight in Arcadia Cottages for Luxury or Bunyonyi Overland Resort for mid range or Bunyonyi overland Camp for budget
Day 10, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will enter the park via Ishasha sector the commonly known area for the rare tree climbing lions. Have lunch at Ishasha as you spot the hippos in the Ishasha River. You may also spot buffaloes, leopards, Kob and topis on the plains of the area. Proceed to Mweya for dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari lodge or Jacana Safari Lodge (Luxury)/Hippo Hills camp or Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge (mid range)/ Simba safari lodge (Budget)
Day 11, Game drive and afternoon Launch cruise
After your breakfast, you will go for the morning game drive in Kasenyi area to search for different wildlife animals missed out in the previous game drive. Later visit the Katwe explosion craters. Here you will spot Kitagata Lake and the enormous Kamengo Crater and this will give you clear view of different wildlife around the Park. In the afternoon, go for the launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel where you will be rewarded with wildlife sights of species like the Hippopotamuses, Waterbucks, Crocodiles and a variety of Water Birds like the black bee- eater, several species of falcons and the raptors. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari lodge or Jacana Safari Lodge (Luxury)/Hippo Hills camp or Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge (mid range)/ Simba safari lodge (Budget)
Day 12, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route to the Park you will enjoy a game drive that will expose you to different wildlife species such as Elephants, Buffalos, Uganda Kob and if you are lucky, you may also spot the Hyena, Lions, Leopard and perhaps the Giant Forest Hog. Proceed to Kibale and upon arrival carry out a short community tour to the neighboring communities surrounding the Park. Dinner overnight at Primates lodge (Luxury)/ Chimp’s nest (Midrange)/Chimpanzee Guest house (Budget).
Day 13, Chimp tracking and Bigodi Swamp walk
Upon having breakfast in the morning at your lodge, you will go for the life time Chimpanzee tracking experience in their natural environment and habitat. You will first report to the Park Headquarters at Kanyachu for a briefing about the chimp trackers code of conduct by a UWA official and then later go for the morning chimpanzee tracking experience. You will penetrate into the forest under the guidance of an armed ranger for the tracking. Besides the chimps, you may spot other primates and these include: Varvet Monkey, L’hoest, Blue Monkey, Red-Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Black And White Colobus Monkey and many more. Return back to the lodge for Lunch and later go for the afternoon Bigodi swamp walk to search for different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Primates lodge (Luxury)/ Chimp’s nest (Midrange)/Chimpanzee Guest house (Budget).
Day 14: Transfer to Murchison Falls National park.
In the morning, you will set off for a long drive to Murchison falls national park with en route stopovers for photography and Lunch. Reach Murchison Falls NP in the evening for Dinner and overnight

Day 15: Game drive and boat cruise.
In the morning, you will go for morning game drives, return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, go for boat cruise up to the bottom of the falls which will reward you with view of game as hippos, crocodiles, among others. Dinner and overnight (Day 10).
Day 16: Murchison Falls NP to Kampala.
In the morning, set off to Kampala. You will first visit the top of the falls for a scenic view of the mighty Nile forcing itself through a narrow gorge with a thunderous roar. You may visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en route in Nakasongora, for rhino tracking. (This is Optional and costs USD45PP). Continue to Kampala, reaching in the afternoon and proceed to Entebbe airport where you will be dropped at 9:00pm to check in for your 11:30 departure flight.
