Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival-Volcanoes national Park
On arrival in Kigali our company tour guide will pick you up and will drive you northwest to Volcanoes national park – home to the mountain gorillas and also other primates like golden monkeys, chimpanzees and others. You will arrive in time for lunch, relax or take a tour to the twin lakes or village walk around neighboring communities of the park. Dinner and Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge / La Palme (Mid-range), Muhabura Hotel (Basic).
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Rwanda
Breakfast, with packed lunch, drive to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing begin the search for the gorillas in the rainforest. The trek can go from 2 to 8 hours of trekking. This all depends on the movement of the gorillas. You are allowed one hour of photography when you get to the gorillas. Enjoy your packed lunch, later when out of the forest, drive back to Kigali. Drop off in Kigali town or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
