Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali city tour – Volcanoes National Park
Pick up from your hotel or airport by our company tour guide and head out for a city tour. Kigali is a beautiful clean city with polite people , the city tour will take you to the genocide memorial tour, the national museum later have lunch and transfer to Volcanoes national park .The drive is about 2 – 3 hour driving north of the country through beautiful mountainous sceneries of the countryside. Dinner & Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge / La Palme (Mid-range), Muhabura Hotel (Basic).
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Parc Des Volcanoes
Have an early breakfast and be transferred to Kinigi Park Headquarter for briefing before you start the trekking activity in the park. Trekking through the forest, hills and swamps can be tough, strenuous and tiring, sometimes taking up to 8 hours in the forest. But coming in contact with the great primates is well worth the effort. You spend one hour with the gorillas which is a truly amazing experience. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge / La Palme (Mid-range), Muhabura Hotel (Basic).
Day 3: Golden Monkey tracking and transfer back to Kigali.
Early breakfast and proceed for golden monkey tracking, another existing adventure in volcanoes national park. After briefing, finally enter the forest to meet face to face with the golden monkeys. You will see them play as they jump from one branch of tree to the other; all this will be amazing and memorable for your safari. Drive back to Kigali and if you still have time, you can visit some craft shops and buy for yourself a souvenir. Continue to the airport for your flight and say farewell to Rwanda.
