Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will be picked up by our safari tour guide/driver at the lodge after breakfast and then drive you to the southwestern part of Uganda to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
We will have stopovers at any interesting places like at the drum making areas and at the equator crossing for photography and snacks, then after you will proceed to Mbarara for lunch. After the one hour lunch break, you will continue through the beautiful scenery referred to as the ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’ will be a big sight as you cross the vast country side, you will arrive at Bwindi national park in the evening either at Ruhija or Buhoma.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking and Nature walk
After breakfast you will be briefed by a ranger guide on how you will successfully carry out gorilla tracking as you penetrate the thick forest for the rare mountain gorilla in their natural setting. With packed lunch, battled water, jacket, you will enter the forest following the animal trails, while in the forest, you may be able to view other animals like buffaloes, black-fronted duiker, leopards, giant forest hog, and the rare golden monkeys plus also bird and butterfly among others.
The time taken to track these species is unpredictable as it can go from a half to full day depending on a gorilla family, so a reasonable degree of fitness is needed as well as tracking gears like sturdy pair of walking shoes/boots, trekking sometimes involves passing through muddy and steep slopes. Ounce gorillas are met you strictly allowed only one hour with them while taking photography as well as studding their behaviors.

Day 3: Transfer to kibale forest national park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to kibale forest national park a home to over 13 species of primates, the commonly known is the chimpanzee the most closest relative to man sharing almost 98% of human genes. Arrive at the park in the evening; if the evening g is free you can visit the nearby lakes around the park. Dinner and an overnight at Kyaninga lodge, Primate Lodge kibale, Ndali Lodge (luxury), Chimps Nest Lodge, Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (mid-range), Rwenzori view Guest house (budget)
Day 4: Chimp tracking and Bigodi nature walk
After breakfast, report to the ranger station in kibale forest national park before 8:00am here you will first receive a short briefing about chimp tracking and then after follow the ranger guide to the forest to begin the most thought after safari activity at the park chimp tracking.
These delightful apes more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are magnificent to watch as they squabble and play in fruitful trees or on tree branches. Tracking time is unpredictable however it can go from 1-6 hours as meeting them depends on where they spent their last night from, therefore some physical fitness is needed. Ounce they are met you are strictly allowed only one hour with them taking photography as well as studding their behaviors.
After, Retire back to the lodge for lunch, after lunch you will go for a guided walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary to look for more species of primates and birds like the shining blue kingfisher, blue Throated Roller, see various species of trees among many other species plant.
